Earn Free Coupons With Recyclebank

Have you heard about RecycleBank?  It's a way to earn some free coupons while doing something great for the planet!  I first heard about RecycleBank when our waste management company partnered with them to pick up our recyclables.  We earn points for the weight of our recycling pick-ups.  Those points can them be used for a variety of rewards;  my favorite rewards are the coupons which are relatively low points and always arrive in about a week.  I never realized the program could be used by those not able to recycle through them, but recently realized it can be!

To take advantage of this opportunity, visit their website and sign-up.  You will receive some reward points just for doing that (when I signed up I got 40 points but more recently they were giving more points just for signing up).  You can earn 50 points for joining the Ebay Green Team (an easy sign-up).  Or earn points by giving away some items on Kashless.com or sending in an old cell phone or electronic to be recycled.  On occasion there will be a bonus point code you can put in too.  (the last bonus code I know of was RECYCLEYOURMAGS which got me an extra 15 points...not sure if it is still working but worth a try!) 

After you have earned your points, you can request coupons.  For example (these are subject to change):

50 points:  $1 off any Dasani
50 points:  $1 off any Coca Cola products

50 points:  $1 off Honest Tea

60 points:  $5 off $50 at Albertsons

100 points:  2 free cans of Friskies

150 points:  $5 off any Huggies Diapers

300 points:  FREE Barbara's Bakery Product

Just wanted to share the details on this program because I think it is definitely worth joining even if you can't have your curbside recycling done through them!
