Does Perfect Brownie Pan Really Make a Perfect Brownie?

Have you heard of the Perfect Brownie Pan?  You know, the pan that cuts the brownies while they cook, then easily leaves you with perfect brownies?   From the time we first saw the commercial for the Perfect Brownie Pan, my daughters and I have wondered if it could really be all that it says.  After all, we have bought many treasures from infomercials and have honestly been disappointed by most.  After debating for a few months, we finally gave in to our curiousity and bought the Perfect Brownie Pan.  Admittedly, we were a little skeptical about its potential.  So, did it live up to claims???

We have only tried the Perfect Brownie Pan once, for a prepackaged brownie mix.  The pan was well prepped as instructed.  It was easy to put together and add the batter into.  However, removing the brownies from the pan after cooking proved to be much more of a challenge than anticipated.  The brownies were stuck, had to be individually removed very carefully and ended up having several broken pieces.  We also found the brownies were tough, perhaps from the oil added to the cutting grid.  After removing the broken brownies, the plate of perfectly rectangular brownies (though few) did look nice though.

Clean up on the main pan area is easy but the cutting grid piece is a bit of challenge to clean since so much brownie stuck to the corner areas.

Overall, we found the Perfect Brownie Pan to be disappointing though we are hoping future attempts at using the pan for rice krispie treats or cookie bars might work out better.
